Studio Policies
Commitment
Enrolling in classes is a commitment on the part of the student, parent and teachers. You have committed to attend a lesson at a given weekly time and we have committed that time to you. No one can fill your child's spot in his absence; therefore regular attendance is expected. With your nonrefundable fee you have made a commitment to the entire semester. Our commitment is to provide the highest of early childhood music instruction available.

Fees
Fees are based on length of lessons and programs offered. Fees are due with the application. Tuition is paid on a 10 week semester basis (which includes the first class of parent orientation -keyboard classes only). Tuition is due in full at registration. If a student fails to complete a semester, tuition in full is still required since the child's space cannot be filled. Budgets and salaries are based on total enrollment and commitment. Once a semester begins, your space cannot be filled. No refunds are available except for a family move or prolonged or unexpected illness.

Punctuality
Punctuality is expected and is a priority. We are conscientious in beginning and ending classes on time and keeping on schedule. Short breaks between classes are necessary to reset classrooms. Please do not plan to arrive more than 5 minutes before the scheduled start of class.

Attendance/Make-ups
Attendance is required at each class at the assigned time. No make-up classes are offered for classes missed by student to allow for safety and continuity of community in the classrooms.

Teacher Illness
In the event of teacher illness, your class may be taught by a fellow teacher, or you may get a call postponing the lesson. You will be notified of how a make up may be scheduled. Each teacher will be allowed one absence per class per semester without necessarily being made to make up due to weather or illness, however, every effort will be made to reschedule any missed class.

Siblings in Classes
Infants in car seats until they are walking (usually 8-10 months) will be permitted without charge at older siblings classes as long as they are not a distraction to the class or a safety hazard. Upon child walking, they must be enrolled in the class to attend and if attending with a sibling, must come to the appropriate class (Family Music Time). No siblings will be allowed at the Baby, Oh Baby/Walking Ones classes or at Mozart keyboard classes.

Changing Classes
If space is available, you will be allowed to transfer to another class or location and a $15.00 transfer fee will apply.
